Translate, review, approve, or edit copy on the design. Not in a spreadsheet.

KopiMark turns your Figma file into a workspace where designers, writers, and translators edit and approve every word and image together, on a live preview of the actual design.

Free forever · No credit card · Magic-link sign-in

Animated mockup of the KopiMark editor. A writer types a new English heading into the source field on the left; the same heading lights up live in the right preview. The cursor moves to the Spanish translation input and types its localized version. The language toggle flips the preview from English to Spanish, the layout reflows to fit the longer translation, and the page status moves from Draft to Approved.

Sound familiar?

You ship, then you find the typos.

Every team has a workaround. None of them work. And every release reminds you why.

Copy lives in a spreadsheet
Strings exported to a sheet. Edits made in a copy of a copy. Pasted back into Figma a week later. By then the design has changed and half the cells don't fit.
Translators work blind
They get a list of strings with no design, no context, no idea how long the German version can be. The first time anyone sees it in layout is in production.
"Which file is final?"
image-v3-FINAL-FINAL.png is in Slack. The new copy is in Notion. The approval is in email. The design is whatever's open in Figma right now.

How it works

From Figma file to shipped copy in three steps.

No installs. No plugins your designers will refuse to use. Just a browser tab the whole team can open.

  1. Step 01
    Import your Figma frames
Paste a Figma URL. KopiMark scans the file and lets you bulk-import every frame, or just the ones you're shipping next sprint. Setup takes about two minutes.
  2. Step 02
Invite your team, and your translators
Share by email, by domain, or by link. Designers, writers, content managers, translators, and stakeholders all work in the same browser. No Figma seat required.
  3. Step 03
Review, translate, approve, then ship to dev
Edit text with native HTML reflow. Comment on any node. Switch languages with one click. When the copy is approved, pull production-ready strings into your stack via export keys and the KopiMark API.

Features

Everything your copy review workflow needs.

One workspace for the people writing copy, the people designing it, and the people translating it, all looking at the same live design.

Live preview that reflows as you type
Not a screenshot. The actual design re-renders in your browser the moment you edit a word or swap an image, so line breaks, wrapping, and truncation show up exactly the way they will ship.
Threads that don't disappear
Comment on any text node or image with assignees, @mentions, and email notifications. Threads are anchored to the design and survive resolution. No more lost feedback.
AI translations, with your glossary baked in
One-click multilingual preview, with AI suggestions that already respect your brand glossary, forced translations, and the surrounding strings on the frame. Every suggestion is a draft until a human approves.
String-by-string approval
Custom statuses per string and per page: "Drafted", "In review", "Ready for QA", "Shipped". No more "is this final?". Every word has a clear, visible state.
Image revisions with rollback
Upload a new logo, hero image, or screenshot, and keep every previous version. One click rolls back to v1. Goodbye, image-final-v3-FINAL-FINAL.png.
Export keys to your stack
Every string can carry a stable i18n key. Bulk-suggest keys from frame and node names, then pull production-ready JSON via the API. No copy-paste from the design to the codebase.
Projects, pages, and folders
Organize exactly the way your team works. Bulk-import every frame from a Figma file in one shot, then mirror your file structure or build your own.
Your brand fonts. Pixel-perfect.
Upload any web font format or pick from the full Google Fonts library. Previews use the real typeface, so what you see is genuinely what you get, not Figma's default sans-serif fallback.
Full revision history, per string, per language
Every text edit is saved with the author, the timestamp, and the language it touched. Roll back a string, diff two versions side by side, or settle a "when did this copy actually change?" debate without scrolling Slack.

Who it's for

If any of these sound like your team, you'll feel it on day one.

KopiMark is built for the people who care about the words on the screen as much as the pixels.

For multilingual teams
You ship in more than one language
Translators work from a spreadsheet. The first time anyone sees the German or Japanese version in context is in QA. By then half the buttons are broken.
Translate every string with the live design next to you. Catch truncation and broken layouts before they ship, not after.
For copy review
Your stakeholders review copy on screenshots
Copy edits live in Slack threads, Notion docs, and Figma comments that vanish when resolved. Nobody can tell you what was actually signed off.
One workspace where every change is tracked, every comment stays anchored to the design, and every approval has a paper trail.
For design + dev handoff
Designers and writers keep stepping on each other
A writer rewrites a button. The designer doesn't know. The dev ships the old copy. By the time anyone notices, it's already in production.
Real-time editing on a live Figma preview. See who's changing what, and when. Push final copy back to the design when it's ready.

Probably overkill only if you ship in one language, your copy rarely changes, or it's just you writing and shipping.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Everything teams ask before getting started on KopiMark.

How is KopiMark different from Figma comments?
Figma comments are ephemeral. They disappear once resolved and are tied to a Figma seat. KopiMark threads are persistent, assignable, anchored to specific text or image nodes, and tied to revision history. Translators and stakeholders without a Figma seat can join the conversation in their browser.
Do designers still work in Figma?
Yes. Figma stays the source of truth for design. KopiMark layers a copy and content workspace on top of it: import the frames you're shipping, edit text and swap images on a live preview, and the layout updates the moment you change a word. Designers don't switch tools. They just stop fielding "what's the latest copy?" Slack pings.
Do I need a paid Figma seat to use KopiMark?
Most of your team needs no Figma seat at all. Reviewers, writers, translators, and stakeholders work entirely inside KopiMark in their browser. The one exception is the person importing a file or pulling in fresh frames. Figma's API quota for free viewer seats runs out after a handful of reads each month, so in practice the importer needs an Editor-level Figma seat. Once a page is imported, the whole team can review, comment, translate, and approve without ever opening Figma again.
Can translators work in KopiMark without learning Figma?
Yes, and this is one of the highest-impact things about KopiMark. Translators get a side-by-side editor with the live design preview. They never need to open Figma, never need a Figma seat, and immediately see how their translations affect line breaks, button widths, and layout overflow.
How does the free plan work?
Every workspace starts on Free. No credit card. The Free plan is enough to run a real pilot with your team, with threaded comments, revision history, image rollbacks, and developer API export. Upgrade from billing whenever you outgrow it.
Is my Figma data safe?
KopiMark only reads the Figma frames you explicitly import. Your Figma access token is encrypted, only used to fetch the frames you select, and never used to write back to your Figma file. You can revoke access at any time from project settings.
What about AI translations?
AI translations are included on every plan. Free starts you off with a monthly allowance and paid tiers expand it. They're grounded in the live design, the surrounding strings on the frame, and your workspace glossary, including forced translations and do-not-translate terms. You stay in control: every AI suggestion lands as a draft until a human approves it.
How do developers get the final copy?
Every text node can carry a stable i18n key. KopiMark can bulk-suggest keys from your frame and node names, then expose all approved copy through a read-only API endpoint with per-project tokens. Pull it into your stack the same way you'd pull any locale file. No copy-paste from the design.
